Today marks a month to where I walked in the ER just to have something check and ending up there for almost 2 days. I am almost back to 100% now but here is what want to say.
My family, friends and supporters have proven that I only keep good people around. So many people randomly called or messaged me out of the blue to ask how I was and checking on me without even knowing what was going on. The connections to my people is crazy.
I am a pretty private person when it comes to stuff like this so I appreciate everyone who wanted to help and do so much more for me but knew that sometimes the best thing to do is to be there and respect the person's wishes.
As I ease back into things, I hope to see many of you soon.

Ugh, Do You Feel the Burn???
Finally made myself climb actual stairs of my building. From the basement to the 11th floor and back down to the basement. Wasn't too bad at all but I definitely felt it in the morning.

Ok!!! Back to Business
A few month's of being laid back was ok but now it's time to get to it.
Summer bodies are born in the Winter. Mental and emotional health is worked on daily. Spiritual journeys are continuous.
This month will see a return to consistency in the gym. At least 3 days a week. Plenty of water, liquids and healthier choices in order to minimize weight gain and cleanse.
Hibernation in the Winter is natural is nature and I will follow suit. Limiting unnecessary or unproductive social interactions. Favoring situation that have minimal stresses and maximum creative or productive value.
Reading (or audio listening) to a couple of religious text for self knowledge reasons.

Let's Begin the Bow
As the year starts to close out, I'm thoroughly satisfied with my overall commitment to my personal health and wellness.
Plans are in the works for more of a routined daily life. With strong wins this last month will be a strong on and set the groundwork for 2023.

Well Shit!!!
In honor of recent passing of actor Leslie Jordon. This month is dedicated to versatility, flexibility, being dynamic and trying new things.
*Plan to limit daily screen time. Trying to save what's left of these old eyes for now.
*It would be great novelty to learn to do a split or at least half way.
*Learn a particular song lyrics. It's one I meant to learn for while.
*Creating space: Conserving energy by controlling my surrounding.

Leaving So Soon???
October breezed by extremely fast.
Veggies were eaten but not as much planned. Other things were naturally cut so I don't feel to bad.
Peace of mind became a bigger part of the last few weeks. Not over-extending as much. It is something that will be focused on in the coming month as well.
"...know when to fold them"

Support Local Of Course
If you know me, you know that I am not a touching feely person. This month I will set and appointment for a massage and/or a facial. There is one Black owned, local place that is in mind. It's completely stepping out of a comfort zone for me.
A simple goal that I will sprinkle in is MORE vegetables. I eat plenty but can do better so let's try add more and try some that I haven't had before or in a while.
Adding stretching back into the mix. It's not a fav of mine but I know better and should do better.
Let's throw in one more book too!!!

Let's Talk About It
September was definitely a struggle for goals on many levels.
Was able to get through one and a half books. I honestly was over zealous on this one. I forget that reading kind makes me sleepy so I will take this and just continue to catch up on all my previously purchased books.
Weight is actually wonderful. Happy where I am with that at the moment and next few goals seem really accessible and realistic.
One face mask was tried and it was ok since it was my first official one. Haven't formed a true opinion about the experience yet. I'll try out some more soon.

Ugh. Ok sooo.
Still fluctuating at my goal weight for this month. Wouldn't call it a plateau but it's annoying It would be great to be solidly there or under already.
Purchased a facial mask to tryout. The tough part will be making myself actually use it before the end of the month.
If I can find some nice new body scrubs and oils, I would feel like my goals are met.
Let's see!!!

August was a tough one when it comes to the challenge that I laid out for myself. All the birthday and general Summer festivities detoured things but I was able to make it to my destination. Feeling really great with my progresses.

Let's Talk About it.
So far it's definitely been a struggle. Not due to the exercise or task at hand but the availability of time to truly dedicate.
Able to touch toes of course. That was a honestly easy goal to achieve. Being able to lay hands flat on the ground is another story. Any progress is much better that none and eventually the goal will be met........ Key word being EVENTUALLY.
Hopefully closer to the cigar.

Very Simple: Bend & Stretch
July's challenge will be a little different. I will work on ab exercises, stretches and flexibility everyday of this month.
Mostly sit-ups and toe touches. Of course there will be regular exercise at the gym mixed in there. Main goal is to be able to simply and easily touch my toes while standing. Maybe possibly even with my hand flat of the ground.

Sooooo, overall June's challenge went well.
I made it to the gym or exercise at home each day of the month. There are so definite results showing from this one. Weight is lower and it stayed that way. Also gaining the habit of finding a way to fit exercise each day is not a bad thing.

Halfway through June and doing well.
So far I have been able to get to the gym or exercise at home each day. I guess putting yourself to the test with a challenge can make it easier sometimes.
Next month will be another but let's focus on this one for now.

Very Simple
In alignment with Pride Month but for pure vanity and pride purposes. I am challenging myself to exercise in the gym or at home every day of June 2022.
There are not many things that give me a proper fight or challenge. Exercise and balanced eating are both my toughest competition.
Today I made it to the gym and did a few sit-ups at home.
